From a young age , I was lucky to observe my amazing parents teach dozens of students, and I grew up in an environment enriched with great music! I have been an educator for over a decade and have taught students of varying levels from young beginners to graduate students.

I am currently based in the DMV area, and perform both as a concert violist as well as a chamber musician. I have performed, commissioned, and recorded various works by composers of the Iranian diaspora.

I am the Director of Learning and Engagement at National Philharmonic, Co-Founder of LyreIran, and a member of the board at the American Viola Society.
